A long time resident of Gippsland and well known in art circles, Val has been regarded as a predictable but competent flower painter-the subject remains amongst many but her work now ventures bravely into the realm of mixed media--- specifically pigment inks, markers, acrylics, enamels and a variety of textural treatments etc.- indeed an adventurer who knows her trade. Widely exhibited she has on hand a range of framed works and is happy to undertake commissions.
