Artist’s Statement
It is my interest in the 'human condition' and the question of 'self' which has been the focus of many religions and philosophies over millennia ……… and more recently in psychology and science, which has influenced my art.
As we are part of nature it is important how we understand ourselves and how we interact with each other for the sake of the environment and ultimately for ourselves. This is the narrative theme of my work.
