CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND SALE

  1. Exhibits must be clearly marked on the back or underneath of each work with the title, artist’s name, address and price.
  2. Each exhibit must be the original work of the entrant and not have been shown at Warragul previously.
  3. Each exhibit must be listed separately in the space provided on this entry form and not exceed 5 entries per artist.
  4. Each entrant must complete the declaration on this entry form and send with cheque or money order payable to “Rotary Club of Warragul Art Show” at the rate of $10.00 per exhibit.
  5. The Rotary Club of Warragul reserves the right to reject any exhibit for display without any obligations to specify the reasons for such rejection.
  6. Each painting MUST be suitably framed and securely wired ready for hanging (Please no cords).
  7. Prior notification to the Entries Secretary of paintings exceeding 1200 x 1200 mm is required. If artwork exceeds this size, entry Is according to space occupied, ie; 2 spaces - double entry fee.
  8. Exhibits will be accepted at the Arts Centre, Civic Place, Warragul between 3pm and 9pm on Tuesday 2rd March 2010 and between 9am and 12 noon on Wednesday 3rd March 2010.
  9. Exhibits will be displayed at the committees discretion.
  10. ALL EXHIBITS ENTERED MUST BE FOR GENUINE SALE!
  11. All care will be taken but no responsibility will be accepted for any exhibit or for any catalogue errors.
  12. Exhibitors will be responsible for the insurance of their work at all times including during transit to and from the place of exhibition, whilst in storage and whilst being exhibited.
  13. 25% commission will be charged on all sales and retained from the proceedings of the sale.
  14. Unsold exhibits must be collected from the Arts Centre, Civic Place, Warragul between 5pm and 7pm on Monday 8th March 2010. Any works not collected by 7pm will be subject to a storage charge of $20 and shall be deemed to have been donated to the Rotary Club of Warragul if not collected from the secretary and storage paid by 12th April 2009.
  15. Entries Close on Friday 12th February 2010.
  16. The committee may allow any work so entered to be reproduced by newspaper or television. The committee may allow an image of any work so entered to be reproduced for promotional purposes.
  17. Each exhibitor has a complimentary pass to the exhibition (excluding Preview Night).
  18. Entries must be delivered free of all charges. No payment what-so ever will be made by the Club for freight or other charges incurred in delivery or return of the entry or entries.
